Frequently asked questions
What if my photo becomes smaller than the minimum KB?
For JPG we raise the quality first; if it is still small we add empty space inside the file so it reaches the minimum. The picture itself does not change.
Is 1 KB = 1000 or 1024 bytes?
Portals differ, so we play safe: the maximum is counted as 1000 bytes per KB and the minimum as 1024. Your file passes either way.
Which size does my exam need?
Every exam gives its own photo and signature size in the official notice. Always match that notice — the ranges here are common examples.
