Why your files stay with you

Most online tools send your photo, signature or PDF to their computer (a server), work on it there and send it back. Your Aadhaar, marksheets and signature sit on someone else’s machine, even if only for a while.

How DesiEditor is different

Every tool here runs inside your own browser. Your files are read and changed on your phone or computer and saved straight back to it. They are never uploaded to us — there is no server that receives them.

You can check it yourself

Open a tool, let the page load, then turn off the internet (flight mode) and use the tool. It still works, because nothing is sent anywhere. You can also install DesiEditor as an app and save all tools for offline use from Settings.

What is kept on your device

Only things you can see and control: your settings, a copy of your unfinished work for up to 24 hours so a refresh does not lose it, and — only if you turn it on — your recent files for 24 hours. Settings has a button to delete them. On a cyber café computer, keep recent files off.

What we do not do

We do not read, store or sell your files. We do not use them to train any AI. We will never show the sizes of an exam as “official” unless we show the source; always match them with your notice.

Ads and analytics

If ads are shown on the site, ad networks may use cookies as described in our Privacy Policy. They still never receive your files, because the files never leave your device.
